Weekends

As my time here whittles down, I am trying to burn the images of this place in my mind. I want the beauty of the Japanese countryside burned into the back of my eyelids. I've heard that it's painful and that you can't really see anything on the back of your eyelids anyway. Maybe I'll just take pictures.

I was blown away by the beauty of the scenery you get to see. So glad you had the chance to scuba dive,too.
I had a lump in my throat when the pictures pulled up of you in action teaching english. I'm so proud!!!

Brother, pictures are mind blowing, absolutely gorgeous. You have a pure, raw talent for photography as well as your poetry and grace with words. Extremely beautiful. I love seeing you teach! How cool is that! It's real! I love how your favorite student has a spongebob cup on her desk--very cute. I don't remember doing that in elementary school? Hmmm explains a lot...
